Issue licences from paid orders

Connect the platform that already takes payment. Drawspan maps its product, variant, or price to the licence plan your customer receives.

Choose a platform

Use the same setup sequence

  1. Create the connection.Drawspan gives you the webhook URL and the fields required by that provider.
  2. Configure the provider.Paste the URL, save the signing credential, and select only the documented events.
  3. Link products.Map each provider product, variant, or price to one Drawspan licence plan.
  4. Complete a checkout.Use a real provider checkout in its test environment. Simulated notifications usually check delivery without issuing access.
  5. Verify the result.Inspect Recent webhooks. A test purchase confirms the mapping without granting production access; a paid live purchase creates the customer licence.

Keep test and live data separate

Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle and Polar use separate test and live products, credentials and mappings. Both environments share one Drawspan URL. Shopify Send test and Gumroad creator tests do not issue access; Shopify test-gateway orders follow normal paid-order processing.

For Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, and Polar, verify the test path first and repeat the guide for live data before accepting a real order. For Shopify and Gumroad, use the delivery-only test first, then verify the connection with a real paid order.

Follow the shared testing and recovery checklist for expiry, refunds, customer email and retained events.
